Straight Answers
Can you hide the cords inside the wall?
Yes, with an in-wall rated power and cable kit. Running a standard extension cord inside a wall violates code, so we install a proper relocation kit instead. The result is a clean wall with zero visible wires.
Is mounting over the fireplace a bad idea?
It depends on heat and viewing height. We check the mantel temperature with the fireplace running and recommend a pull-down or tilting mount when it makes sense. If your setup would cook the TV, we'll say so.
What if my wall is metal-studded or the studs miss the spot?
We use snap toggles and load-rated anchors engineered for exactly that, or we install a backer to hit real framing. The mount holds the TV's weight several times over or we don't hang it.
