Frequently Asked Questions
Short questions, straight answers — pricing, scheduling, and what we will and won't touch.
How does your pricing work?
Simple: you describe the job, ideally with photos, and we quote a flat price before we book. You approve it, we do the work, the number doesn't move. Bundled lists get half-day or full-day rates that beat per-job pricing every time.
Are you licensed and insured?
We carry general liability insurance and stay inside Texas handyman rules: no work requiring a trade license. Electrical panels, gas, slab plumbing, and HVAC go to licensed pros — we'll say so upfront and point you to someone good.
What areas do you cover?
Princeton is home base — Whitewing Trails, Winchester Crossing, Park Trails, Brookside, Eastridge, and every neighborhood in 75407. Our radius covers Lowry Crossing, New Hope, Culleoka, east McKinney, Farmersville, and Branch. Not sure? Text your address and get a yes or no in minutes.
How fast can you get here?
Most jobs book within two to four business days, small urgent fixes often sooner. You get a two-hour arrival window, not a whole-day maybe, and a text when we're rolling your way.
My house is new. Why does it need a handyman already?
New builds settle, and Collin County clay speeds it up: drywall cracks, sticking doors, nail pops. Add everything builders don't include — mounted TVs, blinds, garage storage, upgraded fans — and year one is our busiest year in any Princeton home.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, a one-hour minimum — a trip to your place costs the same whether we work ten minutes or sixty. The smart move is stacking small jobs into one visit so the minimum works for you, not against you.
Do I need to be home during the work?
For inside work, someone over 18 should let us in, though repeat customers often set up garage-code access. Outside jobs like fences, gutters, and pressure washing need nobody home — we text photos when finished and invoice electronically.
What don't you do?
Anything requiring a Texas trade license: panel and circuit work, gas lines, water heaters, slab plumbing, roofing, HVAC, and foundation repair. We know good licensed people for all of it and hand out their numbers for free. Everything else around the house, bring it on.
